\"Unlimited\" ?

Livedrive worked fine for me until my backup store reached a large size (450GB). Then it started to be unresponsive as did the support. Re-installing made no difference. When I cancelled there was hardly a whimper from Livedrive. I strongly suspect that their 'unlimited' means 'not too much'

Very Poor Cust. services, software has many issues

Everything was fine with Livedrive until I upgraded my account. There were issues with the software, warning windows saying that Livedrive had stopped (over and over again) - When I upgraded it was with ONE CLICK, when I asked to downgrade back to as I was (Backup only), I was told I would have to cancel my account and re-register a new account! Not as simple to downgrade then! They also wanted me to forfeit the monthly payment which had already left my account, even though I told them I did not want the account. Customer services are shambolic, and that's being kind. They take 3-4 days to reply and even then it is a "standard" message which rarely deals with the issue. I really disliked this service and I'm out of pocket!

Don\'t bother

MY first experience with online backup and I can say I am not impressed with either livedrive or currys who sold it to me with an ipad thank goodness I did not install it on the ipad. I found out it takes literally weeks to backup in my case 100gb and then it is not in a logical format. It also added a 100gb to my hardrive for the livedrive drive on computer. I cannot understand how knowhow at currys can back this product as the support is laughable, when I cancelled my account I met with no resistance but had to do it on phone as you get nowhere with online support I still do not know how to send a 'ticket'.

Avoid them!!

Dont use LiveDrive! they post comments to get higher ratings everywhere, and are really good at beeing top in google.. but there stuff is not working - you think you have backup but when you really need it 80-90% of you backup is corupted, when you need a file from time to time at there login portal it works, but if you need to get it all out, it is mostly broken!! Avoid it

Great ideas in features with more bugs than a one star motel.

Live drive has features for business plans that gives you administrative controls as to who can see what or edit. It's missing the option of letting you control what folders can be synced. Don't use the file sharing! It shares all folders when you do, even the ones that you limited access to. It is always doing maintenance checks so you can't use it at least one day a week; sometimes two. You would think with all the scans it does there wouldn't be so many syncing issues and connectivity problems, but there is.
