Overview:

Carbonite Pro is an easy and affordable way to provide cloud storage for everything from a small business to a much larger company. They offer a fast and easy solution for all of your cloud hosting needs through a safe and secure system.

Features:

Carbonite Pro makes it even easier and more manageable to have all of your employees and co-workers use the same cloud storage program. Summary:

Carbonite Pro is quickly raising to the top of the list when it comes to the best online backup and cloud storage systems for business use. Their pricing may seem a little higher than some others, but in return you will receive superior service and an extremely secure system to save everything on. Product Ideology:

Once you decide to go with Carbonite Pro as your choice for online backup you can start immediately. There are no discs that you need to wait for or hardware and cables that need hooked up. By using your account information, all you have to do is download the software directly from their website and instruct your staff to do the same on their systems. That's all there is to it!

Security:

Since Carbonite Pro uses off site servers and data centers, you no longer need to worry about any in-house problems that may occur, including any severe weather in your area. These data centers are safe and secure, and oftentimes use some of the same security measures that are used by most major banks and even some branches of the government.

Storage Space:

The basic packages offered with Carbonite Pro allow you a substantial amount of storage space that is the ideal amount for most small companies. Larger companies may need to go with the higher package that will give you more space. If this is not enough, or if you feel you are in between the two, you also have the option of adding additional space for a small fee.

Ease Of Use:

Carbonite Pro is very easy to use, and has some of the easiest setup around for a business-level backup company. The automatic backup is a particularly nice feature, and is one of the favorites among the customers. Files can be transferred to the remote storage by clicking on them and dragging them over to it, which is easy to do for even the most novice of computer users.

Customer Support:

The customer support is available all days of the week from 8 am until 12 am EST, which covers most of the time zones across the world. Emails may be sent during the hours that they are closed and will be answered once the customer service department opens again. They are not open during holidays observed in the United States.

My opinion

I like Carbonite Pro, but when my hours were cut back at work I couldn't afford it anymore. I didn't think I'd find another program that I liked as much with my new budget, but MyPC Backup really proved to be a good investment. It's less expensive that Carbonite Pro and I still get the same great service.

Good program overall

Carbonite Pro is a good program. I can't find any fault with the way it runs or their customer service. However, the backup process does take a while to complete. I schedule my backups to run in the middle of the night so that I probably won't be on my computer. Sometimes it's inconvenient, but overall I like the program.

Good system.

Carbonite Pro is a good system, and I would recommend it to anyone who can afford it. However, it might be kind of pricey for many people, which is why I would also recommend MyPC Backup. MyPC Backup is less expensive but still offers reliable online computer backup. It's definitely a good choice for the average consumer.

Why so costly?

I used the regular version of Carbonite for a long time, so when Carbonite Pro came out I gladly switched. I was a little surprised though. Yes, the new version worked well and did a good job of backing up my files, but I couldn't figure out why it cost so much more than the other version. Can anyone tell me why it is so expensive?
